Welcome Back!!!

I am so excited about the 2014-15 school year! I look forward to helping you find books that you love to read. This summer I spent quite a bit of time replacing worn out books and getting some new ones.  Come in and check it out.

I am starting a new program this year called Rave Reviews. Any reader on our campus (students, teachers and staff) can go to my blog and write a book review for others to read. It's a great way to share good books with others. Just go to the tab marked "Rave Reviews" at the top of this page and read all about it. Once you fill out the form you can start looking for your review to be posted on the website.

Let's make it a great year at Gunter Middle School!!!

Summer Reading Program

Did you know that it is very important to read over the summer? Research shows that kids who read over the summer come back to school the next year and do better than kids who didn't read at all!!!
All of you need to keep reading over the summer. Even though our library will be closed the Sherman Public Library will have a great FREE summer reading program.

It begins on June 5th. I hope you decide to join in the fun!
