Book Fair Success!!

The 2015 GMS book fair was a success. We sold $2,749 in books so the library will receive $1,375 in books. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our success. I could not have done it without my great student crew: Tristan Meadors, Natalie Stephan, Ashley Bruner, Brianna Carr, Taylor Boddie, Caitlyn Siler, Bethany Gilbreath, Bria Savage and Mary Smith. The Book Fair is Coming!!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be here October 16- October 23. You will be able to shop every day from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. I will be recruiting a Student Crew. If you are interested please come see me for an application.

2015-16 School Year

Welcome back to school! I hope everyone had a great summer. I am looking forward to a Marr-velous year. We will be receiving shipments of new books this Fall. I am continuing the Rave Reviews program; so if you are looking for a book, check out that page and see what others are reading and what they recommend.

GIFT Books

I received my Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books!! Thank you GIFT Board! I have them on my shelves and they are already being checked out. One girl told me when she checked out the first Nancy Drew "I'm going to read them all." You just can't beat the classics.

GMS Tournament of Books

 We have been having our own version of March Madness. I took the top 16 circulated library books and we have been voting on our favorites. We even filled out brackets. Two of them are still good. We began with:
